Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store supervisor for TJ Maxx in Albemarle, NC. You will promote an excellent customer experience and lead a team of front-end Associates to deliver friendly, efficient service and loyalty program participation.

You will train and coach Associates, manage POS coverage, and ensure store standards and safety while adapting to busy retail conditions. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits in a dynamic off-price retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles.
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs.
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates.
