Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Customer Experience Lead in Madison, WI to drive front-end operations and provide hands-on leadership on shift. You will support checkout flow, supervise associates, and ensure the sales floor is organized and ready to serve customers.

The role requires a customer-first mindset, strong communication, and the ability to adapt priorities in a fast-paced environment. Evening/night shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in off-price, big-box, or specialty environments is a plus.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate associates in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver excellent customer service across the store.
• Support and coordinate daily front-end operations, including checkout flow and line management.
• Direct associates during shifts, adjusting priorities to meet business needs.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when needed.
• Ensure workload tasks, recovery, and merchandising standards are completed.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties as assigned.
• Assist with merchandise flow and maintain organization in stock and support areas.
• Reinforce company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures.
