Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a front-end supervisor at TJ Maxx in Spartanburg, SC to promote an excellent customer experience. You will oversee a team of Associates at the front of the store, ensuring courteous service and loyalty program promotions.

Responsibilities include training, coaching, POS coordination, and maintaining store standards while upholding safety and labor policies. Flexible schedule including nights/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
• Strong merchandising knowledge
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Available to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Promotes an excellent customer experience; oversees a team at front of store
• Leads by example, engages with customers, and supports loyalty programs
• Trains and mentors Associates on front-end principles
• Allocates registers and coordinates breaks; ensures POS coverage
• Addresses customer concerns promptly and maintains store cleanliness
• Ensures tasks align with store plan and priorities
• Communicates priorities with management and staff
• Promotes safety and adherence to labor laws
• Supports credit and loyalty programs; aids shrink reduction
• Other duties as assigned
