Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. (TJ Maxx) Auburn, ME is seeking a Front End Leader to promote an excellent customer experience and supervise Associates on the front end. You will train, assign registers, and ensure loyalty programs are promoted while maintaining a clean, organized store.

This role requires flexibility to work nights and weekends, strong merchandising knowledge, and the ability to multitask. You will collaborate with management to meet performance goals and ensure compliance with labor

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong merchandising techniques.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to train others and provide feedback.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Takes an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front end principles.
• Trains and coaches Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs.
• Assigns registers, supports and responds to POS coverage needs, and coordinates breaks for all Associates.
• Addresses customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Ensures Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed.
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
