Job summary

Burlington Stores in Utica, MI is seeking a Customer Experience Lead to drive front-end operations and deliver a positive shopping experience. You’ll lead associates, manage checkout flow, and ensure the sales floor is organized and ready to serve customers.

This hands-on leadership role works closely with store leadership to model Burlington’s values, handle everyday tasks, and resolve customer concerns while maintaining schedules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience preferred
• Experience in leading or supervising a team is a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver excellent customer service across the store.
• Support and coordinate daily front-end operations, including checkout flow and line management.
• Direct associates during your shift, adjusting priorities to meet business needs.
• Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, etc.).
• Help resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when needed.
• Ensure workload tasks, recovery, and merchandising standards are completed.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties as assigned.
• Troubleshoot routine register or transaction issues to minimize service disruptions.
