Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a full-time Customer Experience Lead in Brighton, MI to elevate the shopping experience, lead front-end operations, and support associates during shifts.

You’ll ensure the sales floor is organized, stocked, and ready to serve customers while modeling Burlington’s customer-first values. This hands-on leadership role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and the ability to adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience preferred, off-price or big-box is a plus.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate associates in a fast-paced setting.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end operations including checkout flow and line management.
• Direct associates during shifts and adjust priorities to meet business needs.
• Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate transactions (sales/returns/exchanges).
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when needed.
• Perform opening/closing duties and support proper scheduling of breaks.
• Troubleshoot register issues to minimize disruptions.
• Assist with merchandise flow and maintain stock organization.
• Reinforce policies, safety standards, and procedures.
