Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a Selling and Support Captain to act as a customer advocate and brand ambassador on the sales floor. You will drive customer satisfaction, merchandising, and Omni selling initiatives while exemplifying leadership for colleagues.

As an elevated hourly colleague, you’ll receive opportunities for advancement to roles such as Personal Stylist or Sales and Customer Experience Manager. Full-time schedules typically 30+ hours per week with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of direct retail experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer orders and assist with merchandising on the selling floor.
• Lead colleagues in completing assigned tasks and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Promote Macy's mobile app and store initiatives to enhance the in-store experience.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and register transactions.
