Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Tempe, AZ is seeking a part-time Service Team Member to provide friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. The role includes unloading trucks, stocking, and merchandising to keep an inviting store environment.

You will participate in frame shop activities, support BOPIS/SFS processes, and help maintain planograms. Nights, weekends and early mornings are required; 16+ years old preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching; lift heavy boxes.
• Must be at least 16 years old per job requirements.
• Evenings, weekends and early mornings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining store recovery and planograms.
• Support Omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in frame shop duties and cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production.
