Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a customer-focused store team member in Tempe, AZ. You will assist customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining store presentation while promoting rewards and private label credit programs.

Applicants should be comfortable handling cash, engaging customers, and supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS. Average duties include recovery, safety, and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers effectively and maintain a friendly demeanor.
• Experience handling cash and completing transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Perform merchandise recovery and store maintenance to stay in-stock and well-merchandised.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact professionally; support the store's vision and values; be a role model.
