Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Store Team Member at its Chandler, AZ location to deliver friendly customer service and help shoppers find what they need. You will play a hands-on role in daily store operations, including stocking, checkout, and assisting with store recovery to keep shelves in stock.

As part of the team you’ll engage customers with the Rewards program, support BOPIS/SFS processes, and participate in truck unloading, planograms, and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Maintain fast checkout experience and execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planograms (POGs) to keep shelves in stock.
• Support Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in merchandise recovery and store recovery to uphold brand standards and in-stock conditions.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; promote a positive image and teamwork.
• Assist with safety programs and shrink control.
