Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a customer-facing associate for Fort Lauderdale stores. The role involves greeting customers and managing the customer storage pick-up process, with both full-time and part-time positions available.

You will provide product guidance, process pickups at the POS, and maintain store standards. The job requires at least 1 year in retail, excellent communication, strong teamwork, and comfort with computers.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail sales experience or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of store management and associates
• Strong computer skills and internet project coordination experience
• Must be a self-starter and work well in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet storage buy customers
• Manage the storage buy pick-up process with the company’s car topper program
• Demonstrate knowledge and comply with the company’s phone answering SOP
• Verify the identity of the person picking up the storage buy orders
• Obtain required customer information on all storage buy pick-ups
• Deliver customer storage buy orders in POS
• Comply with safety SOPs for lifting practices
• Be an expert in product knowledge and assist customers with questions and selections
• Stock products according to brand standards
• Act in line with company core roles
