Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate in Lake Forest, CA to assist customers in locating products and answering questions, and to ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience while maintaining store standards.

You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and support omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), with emphasis on teamwork in a climate-controlled retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and handle transactions.
• Willingness to learn store policies and participate in omnichannel processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and answering questions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and handle cash accurately.
• Enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram compliance.
• Support SISO, AD sets, and shrink and safety programs.
• Maintain clean, in-stock store and follow SOPs.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Adhere to company policies and provide respectful service.
