Job summary

Michaels in Lakewood, CA is seeking a retail teammate to assist customers, keep the store well-stocked, and ensure smooth checkout experiences. You will engage customers with rewards programs, support buy online pickup in store and ship from store processes, and help unload trucks while maintaining planograms.

The role emphasizes friendly service, adherence to SOPs, safety programs, and the ability to stand and move in a busy retail environment, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to assist customers, locate products and provide solutions.
• Comfortable with cashiering and handling transactions to standard.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards and enrollments; educate on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Support store recovery, in-stock conditions and merchandise maintenance.
• Participate in Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
