Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Geneva, IL is hiring a part-time Store Associate to help customers shop, locate products, and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will also assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings is required; experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support store recovery to keep a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact positively with customers and teammates.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
