Job summary

Michaels in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure fast checkout experiences. You will help unload trucks, stock merchandise, and participate in floor recovery to keep the store well-merchandised.

You will also support omnichannel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, while adhering to SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Capable of handling cash and operating a POS system.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Promote Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll customers where appropriate.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Support store recovery, merchandise returns, and in-stock optimization.
• Maintain safety programs and SOP compliance.
