Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Customer Engagement Representative to join a leading global industrial automation company on site in Malvern, PA. You will support the full customer lifecycle, including quoting, order entry, order management, billing, customer service, and issue resolution using SAP and Salesforce.

Responsibilities include creating quotes, processing orders in SAP, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and high customer

Qualifications

• 4+ years in customer service, order processing, or related roles.
• Experience with ERP and CRM platforms, preferably SAP and Salesforce.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle difficult interactions professionally.
• Proven ability to meet quality, productivity, and SLA targets in customer-facing roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• HS diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support customers by phone and email regarding pricing, delivery, order status, invoicing, and questions.
• Own issues from diagnosis through resolution, coordinating with sales, finance, planning, IT, and other teams.
• Create and process quotes and orders in SAP, verifying inventory, pricing, delivery dates, and required information.
• Handle billing discrepancies, expedited orders, returns, and special pricing.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and SAP, including orders and quotes.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend workflow or process improvements.
• Assist with onboarding and provide training on Salesforce and SAP.
• Consistently meet quality, productivity, SLA, and customer-service metrics.
