Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help keep our stores secure while delivering excellent customer service in Visalia, CA. You will monitor entrances, greet customers with energy, and support loss-prevention programs across the store.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor store environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and coworkers, and strong posture/energy.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering or exiting with a warm, confident greeting to promote a sense of control and security.
• Monitor entrances/exits and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Conduct bag and package checks on store associates while adhering to safety standards.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Support training of associates on shortage reduction programs.
