Job summary

Michaels Stores in Fairfax, VA is hiring a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.

You will assist with stocking, truck unload, and store recovery, while supporting omnichannel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting heavy items. Base pay ranges from $12.77 to $15.00 per hour, with overtime eligibility per state law.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards and credit programs and enroll them
• Assist with omnichannel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery
• Support Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
