Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member in Fairfax, VA to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout. You will handle cash and engage customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, while assisting with BOPIS/SFS and merchandise stocking.

You'll participate in truck unloads, planograms, and maintain stock, with safety programs and SOPs guiding daily work. Cross trained in Custom Framing adds versatility.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll them.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Maintain in-stock store and complete merchandise recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact positively with others; model company vision and values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
