Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a friendly Store Associate at our DC-ARCOLA/DULLES, VA location. You’ll deliver fast, friendly checkout, help customers find products, and enroll shoppers in the Rewards program while upholding our brand promises.

Responsibilities include stocking, unloading trucks, POS transactions, and maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store. You may assist with Omni-channel tasks like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, with hours that include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy boxes as part of store duties.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program enrollments and Private Label Credit Cards
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
• Stock, unload trucks, and maintain planograms
• Support store recovery, in-stock conditions, and adherence to SOPs
