Farmers Insurance is seeking an Auto Claim Handler in Phoenix, AZ. You will investigate claims, determine liability, and negotiate settlements with basic coverage while delivering excellent customer service.

This role reports to the Claims Department and offers paid training, a hybrid work model, and opportunities for advancement. The position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, plus a license or ability to obtain an All Lines Adjuster license.

Qualifications

• Active All Lines Adjuster license required, or the ability to obtain licensure during training.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate auto claims and determine liability with basic coverage.
• Secure statements, police reports, photos and estimates for losses.
• Explain coverage, benefits and claims process to customers.
• Coordinate auto physical damage estimates and rentals.
• Escalate complex coverage issues to supervisor.
• Maintain diaries and resolution plans on open files.
