Job summary

Citizens in New York is seeking a Teller who will greet customers in our lobby, demonstrate how to use our mobile app and ATMs, and complete simple transactions while delivering friendly service.

You will identify customer needs and connect them with bankers for tailored solutions, follow all financial policies and cash handling rules, and help customers achieve their financial goals.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lobbies and assist with simple transactions.
• Demonstrate how to use mobile app or ATMs to complete transactions.
• Provide personalized advice and connect customers to Bankers for next steps.
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits and follow all policies and procedures.
