Job summary

Citizens welcomes a Teller who will greet customers in our lobbies and help them with basic transactions. You’ll demonstrate our mobile app and ATMs, delivering helpful guidance to meet financial goals.

You’ll educate customers on Citizens products, respond to questions, and connect them with Bankers for the next steps, ensuring compliance with all policies and cash handling procedures.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions.
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lobbies and assist with basic banking needs.
• Demonstrate how to use Citizens mobile app and ATMs for simple transactions.
• Provide personalized advice and solutions to help customers meet financial goals.
• Refer to Bankers for next steps when appropriate.
• Follow all financial policies and cash handling procedures.
