Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience required; telephone experience preferred.
• Ability to handle 50+ calls per day in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent grammar and spelling; clear, intelligible speaking voice.
• Strong problem solving and de-escalation skills.
• Basic knowledge of insurance and/or the legal system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct customer service to ARAG plan members and attorneys over the phone.
• Explain enrollment and eligibility questions and the value of the legal plan.
• Explain the details of the legal plan and how to utilize the plan.
• Determine accurate coverage and explain claims.
• Handle minor customer complaints and de-escalate when needed.
• Maintain department performance standards including quality assurance goals.
