SMO, Inc. is recruiting a Customer Service Representative in Maryland to handle inbound and outbound calls, advise customers on pricing, service plans and billing issues, and drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-2 years in a customer-facing role; prior experience in a customer service setting preferred.
• Ability to work well in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent telephone skills.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Computer proficient.
• Must be flexible for weekday and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Handling incoming calls from customers and making outbound follow-up calls for upselling.
• Preparing account changes and resolving customer issues.
• Identifying potential new sales opportunities and assisting with customer retention.
• Working with other departments to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Negotiating prices, service plan payments and billing issues per company guidelines.
