Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies invites enthusiastic customer service professionals to join our team in Arkansas/Toledo. You will assist customers by phone and in person, clarify needs, and guide them to the right parts, while building relationships and supporting ongoing sales growth.

We offer base pay plus incentives, benefits, PTO, and tuition reimbursement, with opportunities to grow toward sales or management. Training is provided to help you succeed in a multi-channel environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone and written skills, including English grammar.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel) and comfortable with Google search.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• SAP/ERP experience preferred but not required.
• Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics preferred.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, multitask, and sense of humor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone and in person at our facility.
• Clarify needs, research parts, and recommend solutions after training.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction.
• Process quotes, take orders and provide post-order service.
