Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Toledo, OH is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers by phone and in person, clarify needs, research parts, and process quotes and orders. You will build relationships, meet monthly sales goals, and contribute to a team focused on fast, accurate service.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience preferred
• Excellent telephone, and written skills, including English grammar
• Ability and desire to learn new systems quickly
• Enjoys working with computers, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel) and comfortable with Google search engine
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR)
• SAP / ERP experience, preferred but not required
• Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics, preferred but not required
• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone and in person at our facility
• Use your customer service skills and talents to clarify their needs, do research, and (after you get up to speed) recommend parts
• Be focused and driven to meet / exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction
• Process quotes, take orders and provide post-order service
