Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Ohio is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers by phone and in person, clarify needs, research solutions, and recommend parts to resolve equipment issues.

You’ll focus on meeting monthly sales goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction, process quotes and orders, and leverage your knowledge of Office tools to support service and post‑order activity.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone, and written skills, including English grammar.
• Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Enjoys working with computers, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel) and comfortable with Google search engine.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone and in person at our facility.
• Clarify needs, do research, and, after getting up to speed, recommend parts.
• Meet / exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction.
• Process quotes, take orders and provide post-order service.
