Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies, a global industrial distributor, seeks a Customer Service Representative to assist customers by phone and in person at our facility. You will clarify needs, research, and, after getting up to speed, recommend parts to meet customer requirements.

You will work to meet or exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction, and you will process quotes, take orders and provide post-order service.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone and written skills, including English grammar.
• Ability and desire to learn new systems quickly.
• Enjoys working with computers, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel) and comfortable with Google search.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).
• SAP / ERP experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
