Job summary

The Armstrong Group in Medina, Ohio is seeking a customer service professional who can work independently or as part of a team. You will handle billing inquiries, assist with sales opportunities, and respond to customer correspondence with timely, courteous communication.

The role requires 1–2 years of customer service experience, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving, judgment, and ethical decision-making.
• Proven ability to coach and counsel others.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication.
• Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer issues in a local office environment including billing inquiries, sales opportunities, and product troubleshooting.
• Respond to customer correspondence in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Enter order information for sales and service orders, update customer accounts including phone numbers.
• Assist in achieving sales/upgrade goals by advising customers on products and services.
• Daily cash drawer reconciliation.
• Utilize training materials to resolve issues quickly and accurately.
• Create and maintain customer files with confidential information.
• Present a professional view of company products and services.
• Help achieve system, team, and individual customer service goals and standards.
• Assist with other duties and administrative tasks.
