Job summary

SSA Marine in Carson, CA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide administrative support, billing, and dispatch assistance, with a focus on accurate data entry for new and updated tenders. You will maintain customer records, handle emails and calls, assess customer needs, and build trusted relationships.

The role may include driver payroll support, records management, and timely reporting. The position requires a high school diploma and 3–5 years of customer service experience,

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 3-5 years of customer service and administrative experience is required.
• You must be able to communicate in a professional and proper manner with co-workers, management, and clients
• Knowledge of operating standard office equipment, including all Microsoft applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with a high level of difficulty.

Responsibilities

• Provide data entry support for all new and updated job tenders received by customers.
• Maintain and ensure the accuracy of customer information, including customer codes and correct billing addresses, are kept up to date.
• Respond to internal and external customer emails and phone calls.
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
• Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
• May assist in driver payroll and benefits management.
• Records management.
• Provide timely reports to immediate supervisor as requested.
• Understand DOT hours of service and ensure driver compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
