Royal is seeking a dynamic Customer Business Unit Manager in Cullman, Alabama to lead new business development, shape sales strategy, and manage key customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in sales or business development, with collaboration across engineering, finance, and operations to deliver tailored solutions and profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is required.
• 10+ years of business development or sales experience, preferably within the plastics industry.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and exceeding expectations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers at all levels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
• Ability to travel 30-40%.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: Prospect, qualify, and onboard new customers, building strong relationships and understanding their unique needs.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and exceed expectations.
• Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with key decision-makers, collaborating closely to provide tailored solutions.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and our product offerings to effectively position Royal as a leading provider.
• Negotiation: Conduct effective negotiations to secure favorable terms and drive profitable sales
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
