Job summary

Citizens in Quincy, MA is seeking a Teller to greet customers in our lobby, demonstrate how to use our mobile app or ATMs, and complete simple transactions.

You will help customers achieve their financial goals by offering personalized guidance, responding to questions, and connecting them with Bankers for next steps. The role requires strong listening and communication and a commitment to exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and develop long-term relationships.
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support business goals.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the lobby and assist with basic transactions.
• Demonstrate how to use Citizens mobile app and ATMs to complete transactions.
• Provide personalized financial guidance to help customers meet goals and connect them with Bankers as needed.
• Adhere to all financial policies, cash handling procedures, and regulatory requirements.
