Aaron’s in Texas is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor to coach customers, drive payment collections and renewals, and build lasting relationships to move customers toward ownership of their merchandise.

The role involves phone and face-to-face interactions, requiring strong communication, empathy, and the ability to handle difficult conversations. The company offers comprehensive benefits and incentive pay.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirements (21+ in the U.S.).
• Valid driver's license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including satisfactory driving record.
• DOT certification may be required in location of position (United States Only).
• Ability to work hours varying from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs solo; up to 300 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
