Job summary

Aaron’s is hiring a Customer Accounts Advisor in the United States. The role focuses on coaching customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals, and helping customers move toward ownership of their merchandise.

Employees interact with customers by phone and in person, building relationships and ensuring satisfaction. The position offers incentive pay and a competitive hourly rate with benefits included where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age in the United States and 18 in Canada.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• DOT certification if required in location (US only).
• Able to work a schedule from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on your own and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in meeting revenue and renewal goals.
• Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system.
• Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
• Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Maintain daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Load and secure product and safely operate the company vehicle.
• Clean and certify returned merchandise.
