Job summary

Aaron’s is hiring a Customer Accounts Advisor to coach customers on lease renewals and payments, building relationships over the phone and in person to move them toward ownership. The role focuses on driving collections and renewals while delivering 100% customer satisfaction with the product.

The position requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to handle difficult conversations. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to modest hours are needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High energy with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Uphold the Aaron’s Brand and protect company assets.
• Maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update customer accounts in the store system.
• Direct contact with customers who have not renewed leases by in-home visits or phone.
• Sell benefits of timely lease renewals to customers.
• Assist with setting and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
• Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for returned items.
• Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheets and route sheets.
• Load and secure products in the company vehicle and operate it safely.
• Assist the Sales Team as needed.
