Job summary

The Container Store is seeking an Outside Sales & Design Consultant in Albuquerque, NM. You will design and sell custom spaces for homes and select business environments, meeting clients by appointment and guiding projects from consultation through installation.

You will build repeat clientele, develop B2B relationships, and manage multiple projects with attention to detail, travel within a 100-mile radius, and a strong emphasis on customer service.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred with 2–5 years of outside sales experience.
• Experience with custom spaces or closets preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; Salesforce; AutoCad based design tools.
• Must have reliable transportation within a travel radius of up to 100 miles.

Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds sales goals by designing and selling complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions for residential, business, and trade clients.
• Establishes trust, rapport, and understands customer needs to present projects and customized plans clearly.
• Manages multiple projects with high attention to detail, timely follow-up, and concise communication.
• Develops clientele and new leads through relationships, referrals, and partnerships.
• Builds relationships within the local community with designers, builders, realtors, property managers, and senior living professionals.
