Job summary

The Container Store in Edina, MN is seeking an Outside Sales & Design Consultant to design and sell custom spaces for homes and select businesses. You will manage projects from in-home consultation through installation, building repeat clientele and developing B2B relationships for long-term partnerships.

This full-time role offers a competitive base salary with a ramp-up period and a lucrative monthly bonus tied directly to sales performance.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 2-5 years outside sales experience preferred.
• Experience with custom spaces or closets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds sales goals for residential, business, and trade clients.
• Establishes trust and presents projects clearly to customers.
• Manages multiple projects with high detail and timely follow-up.
• Develops new leads through networking and referrals.
• Builds relationships with interior designers, builders, realtors, and managers.
• Identifies and manages small to mid-sized B2B/trade opportunities.
• Attends installations to ensure customer satisfaction and referrals.
