Job summary

The Container Store in Dallas is seeking an Outside Sales & Design Consultant to design and sell custom spaces for homes and select business environments, by appointment.

You will manage projects end-to-end—from in-home consultation to design, installation, and organizing—building repeat clientele and strategic B2B partnerships.

The role is full-time and exempt, with a base draw of $35,000 and uncapped commissions that can lead to total take-home pay up to $120,000.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; 2–5 years outside sales experience preferred; custom spaces/closets experience preferred.
• Self-starter who is organized, creative, solutions-oriented, and can manage time, appointments, and projects in a white-glove space.
• Knowledge of design principles and trends in custom spaces, interior design, fashion, and retail.

Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds sales goals and drives conversions with residential, business, and trade clients.
• Establishes trust and understands customer needs to design and present projects and plans.
• Manages multiple projects with detail, accuracy, and timely follow-up.
