Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Customer Service / Framing Assistant to help customers create custom framing solutions and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

You will assist with framing orders, operate the cash register, stock shelves, support truck unloads, and uphold safety programs while delivering friendly service.

Basic computer and measuring skills are required; retail experience is preferred, and shifts may include nights, weekends and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and related areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers find products and solutions.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking to standards and within budget.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Acknowledge customers and provide solutions.
