Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Lead at our Pitt-WM Penn Hwy location in PA to lead a team of framers, drive custom framing sales, and help customers create memorable framing solutions.

You will partner with the Store Manager to plan workload, monitor KPI performance, manage inventory, and ensure a safe, welcoming store environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred.
• Retail management experience.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading store SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance to applicable laws and requirements; ensure execution of Company policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage framing team KPI's.
• Review sales and production workload and build plans and sales floor time for networking.
• Manage and execute the inventory management processes as assigned.
• Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, observing and training of new Team members; support Talent Development activities; participate in Performance Mgmt activities; utilize leadership competencies for self-development.
