Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. store in Monroeville, PA is seeking a Store Lead Framer to coach a team of framers and drive custom framing solutions for customers. You will manage operations, inventory, and safety programs while delivering high-quality framing projects on time.

You will develop selling behaviors, supervise onboarding and training, and act as Manager on Duty, promoting our values and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum Type of experience: Basic computer skills
• Preferred Type of experience: Previous custom framing experience, Retail management experience, Experience leading a sales team

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers who focus on building customer relationships while creating a framing solution for their art.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating a memorable framing solution for their art.
• Assist with SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance and store standards.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Plan workload with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality framing solutions on time.
• Achieve KPI targets and manage framing team KPI outcomes.
• Oversee inventory management, shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of team members.
• Collaborate with MODs on framing operations and store expectations.
• Engage with customers and support Omni channel processes.
