Job summary

The Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF) is seeking a Custodian for Monterey County to maintain the Child Care and Development Program facilities, offices, grounds, equipment, and storage areas in good repair, clean, and orderly.

The role requires English language proficiency, physical and mental fitness for custodial work, and a strong commitment to serving children and families within the community.

  • Ability to communicate, both oral and written

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

Job description

To maintain the Child Care and Development Program 's facilities, offices, grounds, equipment, and storage rooms in good repair, orderly, and clean.

Qualifications
  • Physical and Mental fitness to engage in custodial work.

Special Qualifications
  • Must submit to a pre-employment physical examination, drug screening and Tuberculosis (TB) clearance.
  • Must provide vaccination records for Pertussis (Tdap), Measles (MMR) and Influenza (optional).
  • Will be fingerprinted and must clear through DOJ and FBI.
  • Must possess own vehicle, valid California Driver’s License and at minimum, general liability automobile insurance.
