Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of classroom experience (paid or volunteer) in a preschool or childcare setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively to communicate clearly with others.
• Positive attitude and genuine interest in promoting the well-being of children and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the instruction and care of children under the direction of the Center Supervisor.
• Follow lesson plans and assist in assessing children's development.
• Provide adequate supervision and support to groups of children.

Skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Education

High school diploma or GED

Completion of six units in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
