Cust Eng III/Field Service Technician- Diagnostic Imaging

Overview

Install, maintain, and service equipment across multiple product lines. Provide high-level support for customers and field operations, demonstrating professionalism. May rotate through the Remote Service Center to offer modality-specific technical support to external and internal customers. Use product expertise to diagnose and resolve customer issues promptly, minimizing system downtime and avoiding dispatches. Credentialing, including Covid vaccinations, is required for employment. Responsibilities

Note: Although the position is posted as level III, the actual role depends on the candidate's qualifications. An offer may be made at a lower level if qualifications are less than the posted criteria. Please apply for consideration.

This is a remote, field-based position. The selected candidate must reside in or near Jacksonville, FL.

1. Install medical imaging equipment efficiently.
2. Perform preventive maintenance inspections as per specifications.
3. Prepare work orders, parts orders, returns, logs, expense forms, and timesheets.
4. Maintain all assets according to company policies and procedures.
5. Enhance product knowledge through training to improve productivity.
6. Service and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment across multiple products in one modality.
7. Answer technical and application questions.
8. Install multiple products within a single modality.
9. Maintain accurate documentation.
10. Perform and document FDA and SPD testing on assigned products.
11. Stay current with technical developments across product lines.
12. Support field operations with technical expertise.
13. Develop troubleshooting and analytical skills.
14. Manage workload independently.
15. Work with some supervision, following organizational rules and procedures.
16. Handle diversified tasks involving complex but standardized procedures.
17. Make decisions and recommendations frequently.
18. Develop service-selling skills.
19. Provide remote troubleshooting and resolve product issues via phone.
20. Collaborate with the Clinical Support Team to analyze and resolve customer issues.
21. Escalate issues as needed.
22. Offer remote technical support and recommendations within specific imaging modalities.
23. Monitor and resolve or escalate service alerts from customer scanners.
24. Contribute to knowledge articles following policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop effective internal and external relationships.
• Valid driver's license from the resident state.
• Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience.
• Two years of advanced electronics experience.
• Three years of field service experience.
