Cust Eng III (CA)/Field Service Technician- Diagnostic Imaging (San Diego)

Join to apply for the Cust Eng III (CA)/Field Service Technician- Diagnostic Imaging (San Diego) role at Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc.

This is a remote, field-based position requiring the candidate to live in or near San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Installing and maintaining medical imaging equipment effectively and efficiently.
  2. Performing preventive maintenance inspections according to equipment specifications.
  3. Preparing work orders, parts orders, mileage logs, expense forms, and other administrative paperwork.
  4. Maintaining assets per company policies and procedures.
  5. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for diagnostic imaging equipment across multiple products and modalities.
  6. Developing customer relationships and maintaining accurate documentation.
  7. Supporting FDA and SPD testing procedures.
  8. Staying current with technical developments and supporting field operations with technical expertise.
  9. Collaborating with the Clinical Support Team to analyze and resolve customer issues remotely.
Qualifications include:
  • Active motor vehicle/driver’s license from the state of residence.
  • 2 years of electronics technology experience or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years of field service experience.
  • Proven ability to develop effective internal and external relationships.
  • Reside in LA or Orange County area.
Additional details:
  • Level: Mid-Senior level, full-time employment.
  • Industry: Medical Equipment Manufacturing.
  • Salary range: $72,100 to $116,100 annually, DOE.
