Cust Eng III (CA)/Field Service Technician- Diagnostic Imaging (San Diego)

This is a remote, field-based position requiring the candidate to live in or near San Diego, CA. The position involves installing, maintaining, and servicing diagnostic imaging equipment, providing remote technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include:
  • Installing medical imaging equipment effectively and efficiently.
  • Performing preventive maintenance inspections according to equipment specifications.
  • Preparing work orders, parts orders, and administrative paperwork.
  • Maintaining assets per company policies and procedures.
  • Enhancing product knowledge through training.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for multiple products and modalities.
  • Developing customer relationships and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Supporting compliance with FDA and SPD testing requirements.
  • Staying current with technical developments across product lines.
  • Collaborating with the Clinical Support Team for remote troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of advanced electronics experience and field service experience.
  • Proven ability to develop effective internal and external relationships.
  • Valid driver's license from the state of residence.
  • Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent work experience.
  • Location: Must reside in LA or Orange County area.

  • Salary range: $72,100 to $116,100 annually, DOE.
