Cust Eng III (CA)/Field Service Technician- Diagnostic Imaging

This is a remote, field-based position covering territory in San Jose/East Bay, Oakland, and Sacramento. The ideal candidate should reside within an hour's commute of these areas.

Responsibilities

1. Install and maintain medical imaging equipment efficiently.
2. Perform preventive maintenance inspections.
3. Prepare work orders, parts orders, and administrative paperwork.
4. Maintain assets according to company policies and procedures.
5. Enhance product knowledge through training.
6. Service and perform periodic maintenance on diagnostic imaging equipment.
7. Respond to technical and application inquiries.
8. Install multiple products within the same modality.
9. Maintain excellent customer relations and documentation.
10. Perform FDA and SPD testing on assigned products.
11. Stay current with technical developments across product lines.
12. Support field operations with technical expertise.
13. Develop troubleshooting and analytical skills.
14. Work independently, managing workload and making decisions within established guidelines.
15. Provide remote technical support and escalate issues as needed.
16. Collaborate with clinical support teams and contribute to knowledge articles.

Qualifications

• 2 years of advanced electronics experience or an Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent.
• 3 years of field service experience.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Ability to install and service multiple imaging products effectively.
• Proven ability to develop effective internal and external relationships.
