OVERVIEW

Install, maintain, and service equipment within multiple product lines. Provide a high level of support for customers and field service operations by exhibiting professionalism. May rotate through the Remote Service Center, providing modality-specific technical support to CMSU external and internal customers (Applications). Utilizes product expertise to diagnose and resolve customer issues on first contact, minimizing system downtime and dispatches. RESPONSIBILITIES

Please note, while the posted position is Level III, the actual role depends on the candidate's qualifications. An offer may be made at a lower level if qualifications are less than the posted criteria. Please apply to be considered.

This is a remote, field-based position. The selected candidate must live in or near San Diego, CA.

  • Install medical imaging equipment effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections per equipment specifications.
  • Prepare work orders, parts orders, returns, logs, expense forms, and other administrative paperwork.
  • Maintain all assets per company policies and procedures.
  • Enhance personal productivity through formal and on-the-job training.
  • Service and perform periodic maintenance on diagnostic imaging equipment across multiple products in one modality.
  • Answer technical and application questions.
  • Install multiple products within one modality.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.
  • Perform FDA and SPD testing on assigned products.
  • Stay current with technical developments across product lines.
  • Support field operations with technical knowledge on multiple product lines.
  • Develop troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Interact with management and external customers, providing information and recommendations.
  • Plan workload independently.
  • Work with some supervision, following organizational rules and procedures.
  • Handle diversified tasks involving complex but standardized procedures.
  • Make frequent decisions and recommendations.
  • Develop service-selling skills.
  • Provide remote troubleshooting and resolution support to external customers.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Support Team for customer issue analysis and resolution.
  • Escalate technical issues when necessary.
  • Provide remote technical support and recommendations within specific imaging modalities.
  • Monitor and analyze service alerts, resolving or escalating as needed.
  • Contribute to knowledge articles as per policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.
  • Valid driver's license from the resident state.
  • 2 years of electronics technology education or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of advanced electronics experience.
  • 3 years of field service experience.
  • Salary range: $72,100 to $116,100 annually, DOE.
  • Reside in LA or Orange County.
