Performs advanced specialist duties for the Office of the Registrar
This is a part-time salary, benefits eligible position, working 20 hours per week. Specific hours and workdays to be determined.
Assists with the creation and maintenance of academic courses in Banner. Serves as liaison with campus departments to ensure academic information regarding catalog, section, course title, course hours, course attributes, capacities, and related curriculum data are accurate and up to date. Maintains and updates institutional course information within the Texas Common Course Numbering System (TCCNS) and the AI Portal Course Catalog to ensure compliance, consistency, and accuracy of published curriculum data. Coordinates the compilation, verification, and publication of Dean’s List and President’s List recognition each academic term. Assists with training of academic department staff regarding scheduling software, curriculum processes, and procedures. Performs inspections, audits, and quality control reviews of academic and student records. Assists in developing policies and interpreting policies and procedures. Compiles, tracks, analyzes, and reviews data and reports. Prepares, reviews, revises, and distributes documents, reports, and correspondence. May be responsible for planning, directing, supervising, and participating in special projects. Provides support of front counter operations and onboarding and training of new employees as needed. Performs and maintains the daily operations and maintenance of academic, student, and course records in the Registrar’s Office. Provides TSI support to campus advisors, campus staff, and students. Performs other duties as assigned.
